Floating dip tubes are designed to pull beer from the top of the keg, where there’s minimal if any particulate matter in solution, meaning clearer beer in less time. We’re trying 3 of the various floating dip tube designs out to determine which one works best!

Should have added the CaskWidge Float to the test, my favourite by far!
Tried them in my kegs. PITA! They get tangled and then the end sticks out of the liquid and nothing comes out.
To make pushing the tubing onto the dip tube easier, put the tubing at a 45° angle to the dip tube so you have less resistance. A quick spritz of starsan makes it even easier. BTW, I have never had the sucking air issue. I actually prefer the regular DT. A nice long cold crash sends pretty clear beer into the keg.
