Designed to both quench contributor Will Lovell’s thirst for a classic hop-forward American Amber Ale as well as for the 2024 Amber-Palooza competition, Depp’s Ex is a recipe that combines a relatively complex grain bill with a variety of hops. Coincidentally, this beer ended up winning the competition, which afforded Will the opportunity to brew it in collaboration with Wild Barley Brewery and Kitchen, who then donated a portion of every pint sold to the Shriners Children’s transportation fund.
