When posed with a challenge, Brülosophy’s Steven Thanos is never one to back down, which is precisely how he came up with this month’s recipe. A few years back, his local club ran a White vs. Dark Battle where members chose to brew either a White Stout, a style that receives little attention these days, or a standard Stout, which tasters would then rank. Lo and behold, Urban Achievers Tasty Caucasian overwhelmingly won the “White” category and left many tasters shaking their heads due to its paradoxical aroma and appearance. If you brew this one up, make sure to let us know how it turns out!
