The Brülosophy Show: Can 7-MONTH-OLD Liquid Yeast Still Make Beer?

Liquid yeast is best used within 4 months of packaging, and once it has passed its expiration date, many would opt to toss it. Instead of wasting potentially good yeast, we propagated a 7-month-old pack of liquid yeast in a starter then pitched it into a Pale Ale that was served to unsuspecting attendees at an event. Was this old yeast up for the task?
