Belgian Dark Strong, also known as a Trappist Quad, is a complex, rich, and smooth ale. Martin is brewing one Short & Shoddy style including replacing half of his fancy Belgian Candi Syrup with grocery store brown sugar. How will the beer turn out? He’s subjecting it to 23 participants and asking them– how representative of the style is this brew?

Please stop with the videos or at least also include a link in order to allow people to read and download the recipes. The videos are way too long and don’t give the information that the written articles once did.
You’re better off checking out mean brews on youtube for good recipes. Especially for a beer that requires aging at least 12 months, short and shoddy is not the way.
Love the videos. I think Martin does a great job. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.
