A typical beer recipe consists of water, malt, hops, and yeast, but this week on The Brülosophy Show, Martin asks, “What if we replaced the water and base malt with… apple juice?!” In theory, the juice will provide the fermentable sugars needed for the yeast to produce alcohol along with contributing to the flavor, while the presence of speciality malts and hops keep this in the category of beer and not cider which is just fermented fruit juice. We’re calling it Caramel Apple Ale, and the only question is– Will It Brü?

This is very similar to Brandon O’s graff recipe over on HBT, which I’ve made many times and is a real crowd-pleaser.

Is there a transcribed version of the video available?
I’d rather read this than watch a video. Can you post the normal text version you do, please?
Totally agree on the “I’d rather read than watch”, so maybe you can also have the text version, if possible.
I got this email 3-23-2023. As of today, April 21, 2023, no one has liked it yet… Maybe because we would rather read the article instead of watching a video…
