Brülosophy Summer Of Love Giveaway!

Author: Marshall Schott

Homebrewing is a badass hobby filled super cool people including those who manufacture and sell the stuff we use to make our beer. Here at Brülosophy, we’ve been very fortunate to form relationships with some killer companies whose support has allowed us to continue producing the content we do. What I appreciate most about the companies we choose to work with is their passion for engaging and giving back to the community, which is what I’m here today.

  1. As a new home brewer… With a family… equipment is expensive! On behalf of whomever wins: Thank you for offsetting our hobby investment so that we may enjoy it without the constant wondering of how our next equipment purchase will be funded.

  2. I said the same thing on your Facebook page, but I wanted to post it here as well so it will hopefully be seen by the Brülosophy crü.

You Brülosophy guys are seriously top notch. It’s awesome enough that you spend your weekends (and some weekdays I imagine) working on xBMT’s to push homebrewing (and homebrewing science) further. Then you come along and partner with some RAD (I said it) companies to give away some seriously sweet stuff. Thanks!

  3. I’m 23 years old, I live in Belgium and I just bottled my fourth homebrew today (10 gallons of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed clone, which I have never had). Because American styles (IPA and variations, RIS, etc) are quasi unfindable here (not fresh anymore or very expensive), my friend and I started homebrewing so we could also drink delicious fresh beer.
We started homebrewing a couple of months ago after reaching my 1000th checkin on Untappd. The beer I bottled today was one of eight new beers we did in three days. The other ones are an IPA showcasing Galaxy hops, a wheat IPA dryhopped with Huell Melon, a Black IPA, a Berliner Weisse with raspberries added, a RIS, the HBForums famous Centennial Blonde, and a Saison. Most of them are our own recipes, which we’re proud of.
We’re already looking into building a keezer, but it sucks to have all of your brewing knowledge from American websites and books, since the situation hardware-wise is very different here. Also it seems to be much more expensive here. We are struggling to find corny kegs at a decent price, for example. I tried posting to the /r/belgium subreddit, and someone replied “I don’t get homebrewing. It’s like driving an Opel Kadet when you have a garage full of supercars”. I’m afraid he’ll never understand it.

Anyway, I know winners are randomly selected, but I thought writing something else for a change. Good luck everyone.

  4. Wow, tonnes of great exbeeriments and free stuff! Thanks for all the hard work you put into this! You have answered a lot of my questions.
